Author Information

Participation in WOLTE14 opens several publication opportunities. Authors are kindly requested to read carefully the publication policy outlined below and in the relevant pages.

The steps are the following:

  1. Short abstract submission => digital abstract book available on the conference website
  2. Extended abstract submission => conference proceedings on IEEEXplore
  3. Paper submission => special issue on TAS/TQE

The authors whose abstract has been accepted for presentation at the conference are requested to submit the relevant extended version (3 to 4 pages) The extended abstracts are non copyrighted articles which will be made available for WOLTE14 attendees only via downloading from the conference website (deadline for extended abstract submission April 12, 2021).

The same extended abstract can be also submitted for publication in the IEEE Xplore proceedings.

All attendees are encouraged to do it. If this option is selected, the manuscript will be automatically processed by IEEE Xplore. It will require a copyright transfer and a review process.

The IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity (TAS) and the IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering (TQE) are planning a Special Issue containing papers based on work presented at WOLTE14.

All authors are invited to choose the preference journal and contribute a manuscript, expanding on the material presented at the conference as an original manuscript for this Special Issue. Please see the relevant webpage for further information and instructions.

The article submission deadline is set for June 15, 2021, after which all aspects of the publication process, including peer review, will be handled by the journal.
